Yesterday we got two new members of our family - a goldfish and a frog. Jamison named the goldfish Nemo and the frog has yet to be named so if any of you want to suggest a name we will take a poll. So that was exciting for the kids. Last night we decided to go test drive minivans - yeah. I was not wanting to drive a minivan, but I finally gave in considering how much room they have. We test drove the Honda Odyssey and the Toyota Sienna. They both were pretty good vans, but the Honda seemed to have more space. We are looking for something to take on family vacations and for a second car. I have my mind made up, but I don't know if Jeffrey is so sure. Then when we got back, I wasn't feeling very good. So I asked Jeffrey if he would make me some popcorn. I usually do it over the stove, so I explained to him how to do it. So he put some oil in the pan - put a lid on it and turn it on. Then he left to go put the kids to bed. When he got back there was this big cloud of smoke under the lid and so he took it off and flames came flying up. I looked up and was like wow flame broiled popcorn - so after we got the fire alarms to turn off and had both doors open. He attempted to make some more - well it got burnt. He decided he was not making popcorn for me again. I ate it because he had gone through so much trouble and I felt bad. He just did not have the luck last night.

I learned how to do it your way and it worked fine. However, when I got married, Michael seemed to think that I was ruining our pots (I burned it a bit once) and he purchased a certified "Whirly-pop" for me for our first Christmas. I haven't made the popcorn since. :) Nor do I clean the pot. But the popcorn's great!
You guys are fancy!!! The only popcorn we do is the microwavable bags :) Maybe someday we'll get ambitious! I am so excited to see you have a blog! Yay! I hope our other old roommates will start one - that would be fun. Although I know Christina never will, she thinks blogs are stupid. I am still trying to convince her they are a lot of fun. :) I'll look forward to seeing more posts.
